Victor and William Fung Foundation

The Brookings Institution is a non-profit public policy organisation based in Washington, DC with an active programme in China and Asia. The purpose of the Foundation’s grant was to co-sponsor a Visiting Fellow each year from Hong Kong through the Brookings’ Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies (CNAPS). Fellows conducted individual research and collaborative activities, interacted with the U.S. policy-making community, and took part in policy seminars, roundtables and discussions at Brookings. The Visiting Fellow from Hong Kong for 2006-07 was Ms. Rikkie Yeung, Director of SynergyNet.
